Very cool, Therese. Thanks for sharing this. I think it's really great to reflect on the past year, so we can set goals and make improvements in the new year. This is a unique way of doing it.

This was FUN and EXCITING! I enjoyed it. I got this from SueVittner.com blog and totally enjoyed it. I hope you do too. Thanks for your another awesome post!
Honor 2009 (What happened, accomplished, learned, touched us, moved us, made us grow, made us the person we are today)

"Go through calendar of past year

Write what was significant

—Make a list of what we are celebrating (delight, joy, accomplishment, breakthroughs)

—Make a list of what we are still holding in judgment (that we still hold as bad, sad, judging)

What did I learn? Honor what we were able to accomplish and release any judgments

Bless it…

Right Brain Vision of New Year

(What does it look like, feel like, taste like…capture the energy of the New Year. These questions came from Isabel Parlett.)

If 2010 were a color, what color would it be?

If 2010 had a flavor, what would it taste like?

If 2010 were a piece of music, what music would it be?

If 2010 had a smell, what would it smell like?

If 2010 had a texture, what would it feel like?

If 2010 were a place, what place would it be? (general or specific)

Look at all of your answers and for each ask yourself what qualities do I associate with each of these answers? Come up with 3-5 adjectives for each

Look for recurring themes…these are themes for this year.

What is the big picture of what I want to feel, see, sense" Suevittner.com

Also I'm thankful this past year: I found a friend in YOU!

HOPE YOU ENJOYED IT!

Gavin, that's awesome that you have learning and personal development built into your daily business operations. It is critical, and it looks like you have it well-balanced with the rest of your daily operations. Balance is important. Here's to a productive 2010!

Hi Jason,

Hope you had a great new year. I just read your blog post. I agree that personal development is critical. Once our minds are in the right place, it's easy to succeed.

I speak with many people who are struggling in their life and business and it amazes me that these people aren't on any kind of personal development program.

So the first thing I say to them is to start learning, program their mind, affirmations, goal setting etc.

I make sure I get 1 hour of goal setting/ time management/ productivity training first thing in the morning. About 6.30am and then a network marketing training about 5pm at night before I make my phone calls.

It works wonders.

Keep up the great work and will speak soon,
Thanks
Gavin

I agree. One can never stop educating themselves and learning, but you'll never be profitable either if you keep spending and not earning. I'm a huge social media participant, and oddly enough, our stories sound very similar.

Here's to a profitable 2010 for both of us. Good luck!
