Welcome!

Hello, my name is Jason Kerchner and welcome to my blog! I really appreciate you taking the time to get to know a little more about me and what I’m doing here.

My goal with this blog is to give you all the tools, resources and knowledge you need to build YOUR LIFE, not someone else’s. I want you to EXPERIENCE life, to have MORE TIME to do the things YOU LOVE, and to have the FINANCIAL RESOURCES at your disposal to live YOUR LIFE YOUR WAY.

I Started With a “Text Book” Life…

Like most people, I graduated high school with decent grades and headed off to a good college. I planned to live the life that was expected of me. I would get a degree, get a steady job, move up the corporate hierarchy, and retire comfortably with a 401(k) bursting with cash and checks from social security to supplement it.

…Then I Blew It

After two years, I bailed out of college.  But that was OK since I had a good job. I was a software engineer, a very new industry at the time, and my skills were in demand. I was actually learning more on the job than I was in the classroom.

Until the company was bought out and I got laid off.

So I got another job with a small company. I worked hard, was passed over for promotions, got stressed, suffered anxiety attacks, and finally quit to pursue building my own business doing software programming.

Did you know that 9 out of 10 business fail in the first year?

I was one of the 9 businesses that fail.

Back to a job, and laid off again due to downsizing. The most frustrating part was that I never got laid off for “poor performance”. But what could I do? So I got another job. I even went back to college and graduated with honors and a BS degree in Software Engineering.

It didn’t help.

At work I was bored, frustrated, and unfulfilled. They told me when I had to show up for work and when I could go home to my family.  I had to ask permission just to take a little time off. Sometimes, I even had to give up my weekends. I had to work with people I didn’t like. I had to work for people who didn’t care if they made my job harder so long as it made their job easier.

And then I was told there wasn’t enough business coming in to give out any annual pay increases.

That’s When I Realized I Needed Control of My Paycheck

So I tried a number of part-time businesses that I hoped would become full time businesses.

I became every single 9 in the 9 out of 10 business that fail.

And I wasn’t living the lifestyle that I wanted to live.

During this time, my father introduced me to a network marketing business. As a software engineer I was very familiar with numbers and algorithms, and I immediately saw how powerful the residual income plan was.

The numbers don’t lie.

This business model could create a serious full-time income for life. Even better, the products were right in line with what I felt was important in my life. And they worked great.

A proven business model and products I could believe in.

Number 10.

My wife and I looked at our finances, looked at our present lifestyle versus the one we wanted to live, understood the sacrifices we would have to make, and decided that I would once again quit my job and work full time from home.

Discovering The Power of Internet and Network Marketing

I won’t lie. I struggled to build a business in network marketing.

You see, software engineers are not known for their outgoing social personalities.

I turned to the Internet for answers. The web was something I could relate to, and I knew that a lot of people were online searching for the products I had access to. But I also discovered there were a lot of people seeking ways to improve their lives and their financial situations.

I spent a lot of money and time on training and personal development to learn about network marketing and social media, and I continue to learn new skills and diligently apply them. I found some great mentors that helped me begin to build my network marketing business online.

It’s Time to Start YOUR Journey

This blog is the culmination of everything I have learned, and everything that I continue to learn. I’m here to share it with you.

I firmly believe, based on my personal experiences, that everything you put out into the world will come back to you. The more value you put out there for others, the more you will receive in return. It might be returned as money, but it also might be returned as sorely needed advice or support. It might be returned as more knowledge or insight that takes you to the next level in your business and in your life.

And that is why I’m sharing this information with you. So I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
